I get over 500 emails a day now and have about 60 administrators helping me on all my sites... but still end up going to bed around 3am many nights (luckily, most of the time, just having FUN :-)... but it would be much worse if I didn't have all my admin instructions in blogs for them... it is really an exercise in getting yourself ORGANISED.
Moving up from site to network status can be a big leap, but one which has great rewards for those who can weather the deluge and stay"one-pointed".
Personally, I have found that the greatest tool is one's own "instant manifestation" ability. Yesterday I mentally made the request for OVmart to go viral, noted it in a private blog so I wouldn't forget it and within 5 minutes, our media manager sent a link to her new viral marketing Ezine (!)
Mind you, that doesn't happen ALL the time, but it seems to when it serves the Higher purpose... if you ever read Don Juan and Carlos Casteneda, you might remember Don Juan's explanation of how this all works... the "Higher Power" has "emanations" which attach to our own and it "feeds" off our awareness, helping it along when we are in "resonance" (read: "aligned").
So if you are getting bogged down, the emanations (and hence the supplementary energy) detach because you are losing focus and drifting away from what you love the most.

My advice: Stop trying to BUILD and get back to the DREAM - it is not your job to MAKE it all happen - your only (and HIGHEST) purpose is "to reveal the glory of the Creator to humankind"
It's a hard habit to break... think in terms of: if this was my LAST day on this planet, would I be doing what I am doing now ?
- And don't let "the monkey mind" persuade you that you need to consider the future - it's ALL in the NOW (because the NOW determines the future).
