Animal totems: Cat

As I'm getting to know my neighbour's cat who may come to be mine, who knows... I was prompted to look up the totemic symbolism of this charming and mysterious animal. I haven't been around a cat since last year on a lengthy house sit, and it's lovely and refreshing to know another again.
