AIMS OF JOURNEYS

1. Our main aim is to have you Come to Love the Amazon by immersing yourself in its magnificent forests and rivers, witnessing its unequalled fauna, flora and stunning beauty.

Through this experience you will become environmentally aware and realize Amazonia’s true value at local and global levels. You may even be inspired to share this knowledge or possibly take action.

2. Our second aim is to do a video of these Journeys, which we hope to show in Rio de Janeiro during the “RIO+20 Earth Summit”. We'll later publicize this video to awaken “Love for Amazonia” worldwide, and promote humanity's involvement in ensuring its Sustainable Management and Protection for the future of our planet.

3. The third aim is to collect funds to enable us to attend the “RIO +20 Earth Summit” and the continuation of our 'I Love The Amazon' - Global Awareness & Action Campaign.

JOIN US, as follows:

Participate in just one Journey - all journeys are 8 Days/ 7 Nights long; or

Mix and match legs of different journeys; or

Come with us all the way from the Upper Amazon in Peru, through Colombian Amazonia, to the Lower Amazon in Brazil; or

Meet us in Rio de Janeiro from the 3 – 7 June for the "RIO+20 Earth Summit". To lobby governments to ensure Sustainable Management of Natural Resources world-wide and the protection of the Amazon basin.

AVAILABILITY

During the coolest period, from the end of the wet to the dry season (May – September), the Amazon is very popular with jungle lodges, boats and domestic flights booked out months in advance. In addition, our groups will be small (Maximum = 8 - 12 people). Therefore, if you wish to participate in these incomparable journeys, we suggest you make your reservation ASAP.
